Hello, my name is Kayleigh Blackmore, and this is my blog! I was originally born in South Africa, and then moved to Essex when I was 4. When I was 9 we moved down to Devon, and as much as I love living in the countryside, I have always felt like I wanted to live in the centre of everything, London!
I come from an Art background, as I completed A levels in Fine Art, Photography, Media and English language, and then did a Foundation diploma in art and design last year which I really enjoyed. Even though I have pretty much gone down a fine art path, I was always very interested in makeup and would often practice on friends and help them out with photoshoots and small bits and pieces.
After realising that makeup was definitely a career I wanted to go into, I applied to West Thames College and now I m currently at university in London studying specialist makeup!
I feel as though you make your own luck, and only get as much as you give, so for me, moving to London is just one small step towards my dream of becoming a makeup artist.
