LOVE magazine is a bi-annual British fashion magazine, created in 2009 by stylist and fashion journalist Katie Grand. The first cover featured American singer Beth Ditto completely naked, which was quite a big statement, for a magazines first cover, but it certainly caught peoples attention and immediately sent out a message that the magazine was going to be bold and out there.
The target audience for LOVE is definitely younger than something like Vogue. The magazine focus's on celebrity culture as well as fashion, which draws in a younger audience. Interviews with Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner keep the magazine in touch with fashion, as well as pop culture.
The adverts inside the magazine also show the funkier, younger side, with designers such as Vivienne Westwood's wacky designs being shown. I think this reflects the overall message that LOVE sends out, that just because it's fashion doesn't mean it has to be serious all the time.
