Harper's Bazaar Vietnam 'Nu Renaissance Aristocracy'
This editorial from Harper's Bazaar Vietnam really caught my attention because of the gold eyes. You can really see the medieval influence on the overall look, and I like that. The more I look into the pagan/ medieval area the more metallic colours I see, so I definitely think that I will be using golds or silvers in my makeup. For this I could experiment with adding the colour in different places, such as creating a gold contour, or giving my model gold eyebrows. I'm not sure as of yet whether my makeup will be quite over the top, or toned down.
The hair in this editorial is nice, but for the look I think I am going for, it is too neat. I want the hair to be messier, and more rustic looking. I think it would be interesting to plait the hair though, and possibly have plaits on top of the head too. So far i'm not sure what type of plaits I want in my models hair, whether it's one specific plait or a mixture.
